【抗癫痫药和神经性疼痛治疗药】普瑞巴林是一种新型抗癫痫药,它的分子结构上具有γ氨基丁酸结构,因而具有抗痉挛作用的,由辉瑞公司开发成功,用于治疗外周神经痛,或辅助治疗部分性癫痫发作。
2008年12月,美国食品和药物管理局(FDA)批准普瑞巴林(商品名”乐瑞卡“)用于治疗糖尿病性外周神经痛(DPN)和疱疹后遗神经痛(PHN)这两种最常见的神经性疼痛。
神经性疼痛是最难治疗的慢性疼痛综合征之一,以钝痛、灼热、刺痛为主要特征,神经痛的诱因很多,糖尿病、感染(如带状疱疹)、癌症和AIDS等均可引发神经痛,在欧洲大约3%的人群遭受着神经痛的折磨。
